A Bluetooth Headset You Can Wear As A Ring? Orb has invented a Bluetooth headset that is really a ring. Or a ring that is really a Bluetooth headset, depending on how you look at it. One thing is certain: nerds will now have it way easier getting engaged. The headset transforms from a ring with a twist, and rests outside the ear. Interestingly enough, it has a light display that will emit information about caller ID, calendar reminders, and voice-to-text information. So yes, you will have a ring that will be glowing and telling you things. The base model will launch in January of 2010, and will retail for $129, making it one of the more expensive Bluetooth headsets available for the consumer market.

Projection Ring Working with local jeweller Tamrakar, this ring was created for the wedding of Luke Jerram and Shelina Nanji. In a darkened room, light from a candle or LED passes through the ring to project a series of portraits. A selection of miniature slides were made of different family portraits and inserted into the edge of the ring for projection. The ring was inspired by 19th Century Standhopes.
